StarWind V2V Converter, P2V Migrator • Re: mount vhdx file

I see these questions asked all over the internet, regarding HyperV and some other virtual systems. You convert to vhd or vhdx and try to load into HyperV and your machine won't boot into the operating system (because all these converter tools, apparently, give the Win hidden/system partition a drive letter C: and your original partition is now assigned to D:, so it won't boot).
I don't have a solution (neither, it appears, does anyone else). Did you find a work around, hack, or anything? I've been trying to move every VirtualBox VM into HyperV and this problem arises for every Win OS I've tried (Win7, 2008, Win8x, 2012[R2]). I hadn't tried Win10 or 11 yet, but this is a HUGE problem and I blame Oracle for it!
